Summary: The firm was tasked to provide strategic planning and design services to transform and repair damages to the site of Richard Lee Park as a result of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The new park is a 8-acre parcel that once housed an elementary school and park and will have a connection to the adjacent Lawless High School, which is in the process of being designed and implemented.

  • Designed a schematic studies of the project site and its relationship to existing community components.
  • Organized design charrettes to include public and stakeholder input to help mold and influence the schematic plan.
